The Climate Change Act 2008 is nothing new. It's been around for a while. But do we really understand what reducing our carbon emissions by 80% means by 2050 means?
80%. That's 4/5ths. The vast majority. 80% means that by 2050 pretty much everything we do will have to be low or zero carbon. The way we travel, the things we buy, how we buy them, how we connect with each other- all of them will have to produce 80% less emissions than they do now.
